Everyone has heard of Pablo Escobar, the Columbian drug cartel leader who was gunned down on a rooftop after smuggling billions of dollars worth of cocaine into the US for over a decade. He was responsible for blowing up an airplane that killed over 100 people and killing over 4,000 people in Columbia with bombs, bullets, poison and even chainsaws. Escobar’s story is told by Netflix in the series “Narcos” as well as many other movies and TV shows. One of the main characters left out of Escobar’s story is that of Barry Seal, with the exception of the 2017 Tom Cruise movie “American Made.” Even that leaves out many of the most important facts.
The normal narrative on Seal usually says he was a great pilot that smuggled cocaine into the United States for Pablo Escobar. Seal was arrested and agreed to work with the Drug Enforcement Agency in order to avoid going to prison. Later the cartel found out and sent guys to Louisianna where they found Seal and gunned him down in his car. All of that is true of course but it is what is not said that is more interesting.
Barry Seal got his pilot license when he was only 16. He flew mission for the American Special Forces in the Vietnam War and was highly trained as a pilot. He could take off or land almost anywhere and fly in bad weather, no one disputes his abilities pilot. What is left out of Barry’s story is how he got started smuggling.
Barry did not start out smuggling cocaine nor marijuana or any drugs. Barry did not start out working for the Columbia cartel nor smuggling to or from Columbia at all. Barry was introduced to the world of smuggling by David Ferrie. David Ferrie, Lee Harvy Oswald and Barry Seal all went to the same summer camp for the Civil Air Patrol. Ferrie got Barry to start smuggling weapons to Cuba to fuel Fidel Castros revolution against Batista. Barry was still in high school and Ferrie paid him 2,000 dollars a week, which even today is a ton of money for a high school kid to be making.
In this photo Barry Seal is third from the bottom left, with a drink in his left hand. The photo was taken in Mexico when he was 24. The guy covering his face, Frank Sturgis, later became one of the watergate burglars. In the bottom left is CIA assassin Felix Rodriguez who later became one of the Iran Contra operatives. Next to Barry with glasses on is Porter Goss a former CIA Chief. All of these men were connected to illegal activity but to go through each one distracts from the topic at hand which is Barry Seal.
Barry Seal was able to get photos of Pablos Escobar himself loading cocaine onto Barry’s cargo plane in Nicaragua. Barry also got lucky and captured photos of the communist leader of the Sandinistas, Fredrico Vaughn, loading cocaine onto the same plane. When Seal returned to the US with these photos it was far more evidence than they the DEA or CIA had dreamed they could get. They ( by they, I mean Oliver North) leaked the story to the Washington Times, which made Seal a marked man.
Escobar offered half a million dollars for anyone who killed Seal and even more money if they could bring him to Columbia alive. Seal’s court case announced that he would be required to be on a salvation army base every night from 6pm to 6am for the next 6 months and even gave the address. This made Seal and easy target and of course he was killed in his car on the way to the base. He was also ordered not to have a gun nor any body-guards. David Ferrie had a suspicious suicide but that is another story. Rumors are that Seal flew a get-away plane out of Dallas the day JFK was killed.
Personally, I don’t think we will ever know the whole story when it comes to Barry Seal. What do you think? Was Seal CIA the entire time? Did they let him get killed? If so why?

Yes there is so much that cannot be proven nor disproven but what I think is important is that Oliver North screwed him over by leaking the photos to the press for political purposes and Barry was killed for it. That part we know is true. North went on to become Governor of Virginia.
Since reading my first book on the subject in 1991 and countless others others since , along with the majority that just regurgitate the main stream narrative whilst ignoring the elephant in the room , some authors such as as MPC & RD have tied in the biggest part of this jigsaw puzzle which for me removes all the trickery of the confusion of the mainstream narrative. Your factual points here made the hair stand up on the back of my neck for their in plain site connection as for critical evidence and at the same time the chilling reality of the reach of the invisible and ever growing hands role since WW2 in America and the west’s direction. Thank you for this work as it also highlights along with the actual JFK subject as a whole and who REALLY runs the US, the power of the media/Hollywood in just that One little tactic of ‘What they Leave Out’ more so than what they misinform the public with!! 👍
I saw American Made a few months ago, not knowing much about the background of it (my sister recommended it) and when Barry was tracked down to the place where he was hiding out and killed, the movie never mentioned how in the world did they know where he was. Never mentioned the court documents giving the step by step instructions.....
Later I came across one of RD's streams talking about the other connections. It's scary the stuff we don't know.
